Terms and Conditions  

  1. The MR.D.I.Y. x P&G ‘Raya & Menang’ Contest commences on 15 April 2022 and closes on 31 May 2022 (“Contest Period”). MR.DIY Group (M) Berhad (“Organiser”) reserves the right to shorten or extend the Contest Period without prior notice. All entries received outside the Contest Period shall be automatically disqualified. The Contest will run for six (6) Contest Weeks as follows:
    1. Contest Week 1: 15 April 2022 – 24 April 2022;
    2. Contest Week 2: 25 April 2022 – 01 May 2022;
    3. Contest Week 3: 02 May 2022 – 08 May 2022;
    4. Contest Week 4: 09 May 2022 – 15 May 2022;
    5. Contest Week 5: 16 May 2022 – 22 May 2022;
    6. Contest Week 6: 23 May 2022 – 31 May 2022.
  1. This Contest is open to all citizens and permanent residents of Malaysia above 18 years of age (as at 15 April 2022) except the employees and immediate families of the Organiser and Procter & Gamble (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (P&G) (“Prize Sponsor”), including their affiliated and/or related companies, distributors, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies.
  1. The “Participating P&G Products” in this Contest are AmbiPur, Febreeze, Vicks, Oral-B, head & shoulders, Rejoice, Gillette, Fab, Whisper, Downy, Dynamo and Pantene.
  1. To participate in the Contest:
    1. Participants must purchase any Participating P&G Products worth RM15.00 and above in a single receipt from any MR.DIY outlet or MR.DIY online shop (https://www.mrdiy.com.my/). For purchases made online, the minimum spending of RM15.00 excludes delivery fee.
    2. Scan the QR code or click here.
    3. Complete the online form by answering the question, filling in all the empty fields and click on submit. 
    4. Retain original single receipt dated within Contest Period that matches the online entry as proof of purchase.
    5. Participants may send as many entries as they wish but each entry must be accompanied with the required details and a different receipt for each entry.
    6. Participants are not allowed to submit/send more than one (1) entry with the same receipt to the Organiser.
    7. Each Contest day during the Contest Period, the Contest begins at 12:00am and ends at 11:59pm.
    8. The Organiser will not reimburse the participant for any charges incurred in submitting the entries, if any. 
  1. Selection of winners:
    1. Grand Prize x 1: 
      • The eligible Grand Prize winner will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Period divided by 2. For example, if the total number of qualified entries received is 10,101, then this number will be divided by 2 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 5,050. Hence the 5,050th qualified entry will be shortlisted and stand to win the Grand Prize. In the event the shortlisted entry is disqualified, the next eligible earlier entry received will be the replacement winner, for example, the replacement winner for the 5,050th qualified entry is the 5,049th qualified entry.
    1. Weekly Prize x 105 Winners x 6 Contest Weeks: 
      • The eligible Weekly Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Week divided by 105.5. For example, if the total number of qualified entries received is 1,588, then this number will be divided by 105.5 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 15. Hence the 15th, 30th, 45th qualified entries and so on will be shortlisted and stand to win a Weekly Prize each for the Contest Week. In the event the shortlisted entry is disqualified, the next eligible earlier entry received will be the replacement winner, for example, the replacement winner for the 15th qualified entry is the 14th qualified entry.
      • From the one hundred and five (105) shortlisted entries, the 20th, 40th, 60th, 80th and 100th entries will win a Weekly First Prize each while the remaining entries will win a Weekly Consolation Prize each.      
    1. The eligible prize winners will be contacted via telephone and may be required to correctly answer a question before being declared a winner. Should the first attempt to contact the eligible winner fail, for example, no reply, telephone number not in service or no connection, etc, another two (2) attempts will be made within the next twenty four (24) hours of the first telephone call. Where such further attempts are unsuccessful, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the eligible winner and thereafter select the next qualified participant. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event the winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons. In the event the eligible winner fails to correctly answer the simple question, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the eligible winner and find another eligible winner as replacement.
    2. The eligible prize winners may be required to submit by Pos Laju/courier all the original printed receipts dated within the Contest Period that match all the entries as well as a copy of their NRIC within three (3) working days from the date of notification as proof of purchase. Failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the eligible winner.
    3. Only original and valid printed receipts will be accepted. Any receipt that is illegible, mutilated, altered, duplicated, tampered with, not obtained legitimately, contains printing typographical, mechanical or other errors or the printing is unclear or does not contain the required information is invalid and will not be accepted. The Organiser reserves the sole discretion and rights to disqualify such invalid receipts.
  1. Contest prizes:
    1. Grand Prize x 1: SMEG 50’s Style Refrigerator.
    2. Week 1 First Prize x 5: Kitchen Aid Variable Speed Blender each.
    3. Week 2 First Prize x 5: iPad 9th Gen each.
    4. Week 3 First Prize x 5: Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer each.
    5. Week 4 First Prize x 5: Tefal Easy Fry Oven & Grill each.
    6. Week 5 First Prize x 5: SMEG 50’s Retro Style 2-Slice Toaster each.
    7. Week 6 First Prize x 5: iPhone 13 Pro 128GB each.
    8. Weekly Consolation Prize x 600: RM100.00 MR.D.I.Y. and/or MR.DOLLAR voucher each.
    9. Each participant is only allowed to win one (1) prize throughout the Contest Period.
    10. All prizes must be claimed at winners’ own expense within sixty (60) days after the Contest Period. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited by the Organiser.
    11. The participant is required to produce a proof of identity during or prior to prize redemption for purposes of verification. The only forms of proof of identity accepted by the Organiser are Malaysian identity card or driver’s license. A failure to provide any proof of identity entitles the Organiser to disqualify the participant/winner.
    12. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to substitute any prize with that of similar value at any time without prior notice. All prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable in any other form for whatever reason. The value of the prize is correct at the time of printing. All prizes are given on an “as is” basis. The Organiser will not be responsible if the prize is damaged after it is received by the winner.
  1. The Organiser is not responsible or liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorised access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or websites.
  1. Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any accident, injury, damage or claim resulting from participation in this Contest.
  1. By participating in this Contest, participants consent to give their personal information and the Organiser and Prize Sponsor reserve the right to publish, use the winners’ names and/or photographs plus their entries for purposes of publicity, advertising and/or trade without further compensation or notice and each participant is not entitled to make any claims for the use of their entries by the Organiser and Prize Sponsor.
  1. The Organiser collects personal identifiable information to provide services or to correspond with the participant. This information is stored in a manner appropriate to the nature of the data by the Organiser and is used to fulfil the participant’s request(s). By submitting the participant’s personal information, the Organiser deems that permission is given to the Organiser, the Prize Sponsor and/or its authorised agents to use this information for the purpose of present and future marketing and promotional purposes and to improve its products and services. If the participant informs the Organiser via the Careline at 03-89611338 that the above information should not be used as a basis for further contact, the Organiser will respect the participant’s request. The participant’s information will not be provided or shared with other companies for their use. 
  1. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by the official Terms and Conditions and decisions of the Organiser.
  1. The Organiser reserves the rights to amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice at any time and the participants shall be bound to such changes.
  1. The Organiser’s decision is final. Any correspondence pertaining to the decision made by the Organiser will not be entertained. 
  1. The Contest Terms and Conditions are available in the English and Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of inconsistencies of the language used, the English language version of the contest Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
